Meet the Ladies

Loyal. Funny. Loving. Playful. At ease.

We take so much pride in our dogs. They are like family to us. We treat them with respect and love and they give us so much in return. Joy, laughter, funny stories, companionship, affection and physical activity. One thing we love most is when they give us dog hugs. A dog hug is when a dog comes and sits next to your feet and leans against you. Those are the best.

Edlen House Girona aka Bailey

Bailey is elegant, happy-go-lucky and has a moderate energy level. She loves to run but also like to lounge. We call her our princess. She has a hunter eye and can spot small animals and birds at a long distance. In her lineage are trained hunters. We imported Bailey from Volgograd, Russia during the summer of Covid. She is gentle and has been a delight all along the way.

Fun Fact: She loves bananas, many other fruits and vegetables too. She knows how to help herself as she can grab a banana and peel it with her teeth. It has been reported that some of her children have been given this talent as well. She is also a master at opening doors and gates.

Poppy in the Meadow by the Sea

Poppy is Bailey and Cuddy's daughter. Poppy is a silly and fun girl. She loves to play and is happy-go-lucky like her mama. She loves kids and other animals. She does so great with our puppies and has been amazing with Scout as his companion and now girlfriend as he's been growing up and developing since 8 weeks. She's not spectacular at fetch but tries her best! Poppy is always the life of the party as she likes to get the others running, moving and playing during exercise time just like her dad was. He was the pack cheerleader. 85 pounds

Leyland Cypress Sweet Allie

Allie is the most lovable and affectionate female Labrador we have. I call her our Star Student or Teacher's pet. She prefers sitting at our feet, ear rubs, eye contact, words of affirmation and attention over fetch everyday. She is an excellent mother. She prefers to be with the pups even when they are nearing 8 weeks of age - when most moms are over it! She lays with them and doesn't mind when they pull at her ears. She's continuously cleans and nurtures them. She listens well and loves routine. Allie is retiring in the Spring of 2023 and will be working at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Her job will be to bring comfort and joy to patients.  60 pounds

Iris Eloise of the Garden

This girl is ready to play! She is accurate, quick and determined. She comes from a line of skilled duck hunters so it's no wonder that she is fully capable. We throw a tennis ball for her and her accuracy in catching it is very very high. It's in her blood to catch and retrieve. Not only is she agile, she is also fiercely loyal and a protector. She has given herself the task of checking on our property multiple times a day. She does her rounds and then she comes back and lounges on our property. She's aware and pays attention. She is highly intelligent and communicates with us through her bark and eye contact. She loves affection and is a great house dog as well. She is full of life and good energy. Iris is now retired and lives with us. Her son, Scout is our stud dog. 65 pounds

Rosie Hanalei Great Bay

Rosie is a sweet lover. She was an excellent mother! She loved her babies and even when she didn't have babies she would find a stuffed animal around the house and treat it like it was her baby. She would hide it, protect it and keep it right near her side or carry it around gently in her mouth. Rosie is the daughter of Ozzy. Rosie retired in 2022 and now lives with a lovely family by the beach. This family has been perfect for Rosie all the way and has become her new pack.  55 pounds
